Annual Used Book Sale
The 44th annual used book sale, that took place in April 2008, was a
resounding success with $23,000 going to scholarships for local
students. A heartfelt thanks to those who donated; those
who came, browsed and bought; and all the volunteers who helped.
The 45th annual used book sale will take place on Friday, April 24 and
Saturday, April 25, 2009 at the First United Church, corner of King
and William Streets in Waterloo. And of course we will again be
looking for donations: Wednesday, April 22 and Thursday, April 23,
2009. Drop off good used books for adults, youth and children as well as
commercial DVDS, CDs, talking books and sheet music at the back door
of the church on those days only.
