The Dinner Club

The Dinner Club is a new group that started this past September. We met once a month at a member’s home and shared a potluck dinner. The host would suggest a topic and the members put quite a bit of thought and effort in preparing a suitable dish to accompany the main dish that the host provided. Themes we had this year were Fall Harvest, Lebanese, French Canadian, St. Patrick’s Day, Italian and Mexican. We also joined The Dining Divas at Bloom Restaurant in January. There were nineteen of us. We were the only diners that night and got to sample the new winter menu. In addition to the wonderful meals we got to eat each month we also enjoyed the lively conversations at each dinner. It was interesting and fun to get to know each other better around the dinner table. It was a very successful first year for this group.
